My name is Dylan Roelfs, a freelance app & web developer from the Netherlands. I prefer not to call myself an entrepreneur; the term freelancer suits me better and reflects who I am and how I approach life. On this page, I want to give you an honest and personal impression of myself. In the end, you’re not working with a company name, but with me as a person. I am DyroDigital, and I am anything but formal. Wherever I am, I always remain myself, both personally and professionally.
How would I describe myself in one word? An adventurer. Sports, pushing my limits, and taking on new challenges give me energy. Exploring new places around the world excites me the most. I am young and full of energy, which has allowed me to discover many inspiring places, including Mexico, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, and more. I also lived and worked for a month in the Swiss Alps, surrounded by other creative people from around the world. I am passionate about this digital nomad lifestyle, where I feel free and need nothing more than my laptop.
In addition to being adventurous, I am very eager to learn. I think in solutions, not in problems. The word impossible is not in my vocabulary. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. At the age of 17, I built my first webshop for a client. After that, I completed a three-year study in Media and Application Development at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. In 2022, I started freelancing, and since 2024, I have specialized in designing and building apps and websites.
I am organized, minimalist, and have a sharp eye for detail. This is reflected in my work: apps and websites that look clean, with a clear focus on usability and design. For me, building cool stuff is not just work, but also a creative outlet where I can put all my focus and energy. The best part is that clients directly benefit from this: products that truly add value. Helping clients is what gives me energy.
